MISTY HORIZON

Poem circa 1970
MISTY HORIZON
There’s a misty horizon waiting for me
And I hope to be –
Prepared –
with dimly eyes – to find the way,
This I insist
Despite the mist
Despite the rain that mizzles and gentles and
glances countless blows

If only with a wave of the hand
One could dismiss like a fly
The mist, the rain and the dimly eye.
